Michael Hunter (20-1-1, 14 KOs) defeated Mike Wilson and become an official challenger for the WBA heavyweight belt. But instead of waiting months for his chance, the American is looking for a new challenge. The boxer from Las Vegas, who recently celebrated his 33rd birthday, challenged Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs). The Englishman is the holder of the WBC interim belt.

"They will never agree to fight me. I'm willing to face any Eddie Hearn boxer at any time, only they'll stay away from me. Team Whyte doesn't want such a meeting either, but the fans will pressure him to fight me. He has to be very careful about choosing an opponent in the American market because he hasn't dealt with anyone serious so far," Hunter said.

Dillian Whyte will return to the ring on October 30 in the UK and not in the US as previously planned. However, he still doesn't know the name of his opponent.
