UFC top lightweight Michael Chandler expressed his opinion that title challenger Dustin Poirier should wait for another cash fight with Conor McGregor.

“If I were Dustin, I would just wait for the fourth fight with Conor, especially after he said so much about his wife and children, threatened to kill and stuff like that. But I also know that Poirier is a competing athlete and he wants to win the main trophy in mixed martial arts. He was interim champion, but did not hold a full title. So the fighter in him wants to fight for the belt against Oliveira, but some part of him says that he can just wait and fight Conor for a lot of money," Chandler said in an interview with Helen Yee.

Poirier will become the next opponent of the reigning champion Charles Oliveira. Their fight is expected to take place in December.
