Emelianenko's rival: I want to kill the dragon

Timothy Johnson shared his expectations for the upcoming fight with the legendary Fedor Emelianenko.

“I heard the same names as all of you and had no idea that my option was being considered and that I could get this fight. I think Fedor personally watched my fight against Moldavsky for 25 minutes in the immediate vicinity, and his voice was decisive in matchmaking. One of two things: either he chose me because he’s sure he can knock me out right away, but I don’t want to think so, or he chose me because Fedor is a warrior. He has a warrior mentality and I will give him a fight. He did not choose his opponent by name - he needs a real fight. Psychologically, this is quite difficult. It's almost a mental block - should I give it one hundred percent? After all, if I beat him, everyone will be angry with me, because they want to see him win. But I'm trying to banish these thoughts. I want to kill the dragon and become famous as the last guy to beat him. Sure, Fedor will do his best to win this fight. It will be Fedor ten years ago, and not the one that was the last year or two. It will be a retro Fedor, and I am preparing for just such a confrontation."
