Fedor shares his opinion about Jones

The renowned Russian heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko spoke about his attitude towards the former "king" of the UFC light heavyweight division Jon Jones.

“This is not the first time we see each other. He came to one of the tournaments in Moscow, we communicated kindly and in an amicable way. And when Valentin Moldavsky won (on June 26, Moldavsky defeated Timothy Johnson and became the interim Bellator heavyweight champion - ed.), John called, congratulated and was happy with us.

"He's a good man. It is very pleasant to communicate with him. Is he a legend? I think yes. It leaves a bright mark. Jon Jones is a bright figure in MMA," Fedor said.

The 44-year-old Emelianenko will have his next fight on October 23 in Moscow.
