Hearn: Wilder won't change in one day

Eddie Hearn does not believe in Deontay Wilder's (42-1-1, 41 KOs) "magical" metamorphosis after he brought Malik Scott in as a new head coach. The promoter of Anthony Joshua (24-1, 21 KOs) doesn't give the Bronze Bomber much of a chance to defeat Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) in their third fight, scheduled for July 24th.

“You can't get good boxing technique overnight. Wilder still looks the same as before," Hearn said in an interview with DAZN. "His work with Scott, the way he moves, the footwork are all the same."

“In addition, he is morally completely and finally defeated,” says the head of Matchroom Boxing, who already mentally sees the “King of the Gypsies” in a duel against Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs). "If he wants to have another fight before meeting Joshua, let's do the right thing and let him face the mandatory challenger, which is Whyte [in fact, Dillian is not - Ed.]."
