Salita Promotions has abandon the right to organize a qualifying bout for the right to challenge the IBF world super middleweight title between two Russians Evgeny Shvedenko (15-0, 6 KOs) and Vladimir Shishkin (12-0, 7 KOs).

The bids for the organization of this duel was held in mid-June. The winning bid was $350,000, but Salita Promotions was unable to find a TV partner to financially support the event.

The rights to organize the fight eventually passed to the Facher Sport group, which offered $277,000 in a competition of promotional applications. Now the fight is scheduled for July 31 and will be held in Germany.

The winner of the fight will receive the status of an official contender for the fight with Caleb Plant, the champion of the International Boxing Federation in the weight category up to 76 kg. Plant in September in Las Vegas will hold a unification with Saul Alvarez, who owns the WBA, WBO and WBC championship belts.
