Ultimately, the fight of Teofimo Lopez (16-0, 12 KOs) and George Kambosos Jr. (19-0, 10 KOs) may not take place until September 11th. On the same evening, Oscar De La Hoya will return in an exhibition fight against the former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort.

Lopez - Kambosos duel was originally planned for June 5th. The fight was postponed for two weeks due to a fight of Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Logan Paul. Lopez later tested positive for the coronavirus and the fight was postponed until August 14. But at the moment, several big boxing evenings are already planned for this day, which may lead to a new postponement of the fight.

At stake there will be WBA, WBO, IBF and WBC lightweight belts. It is possible that an exhibition fight of Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera will take place at the same evening.
