Joshua starts sparring before Usyk fight

WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs) started his sparring session before the fight against Alexander Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs).

One of the partners of the world champion in training duels is, in particular, Thomas Carty (1-0, 0 KO) - an Irish left-hander who starts his career as a pro. Carty also helped Dereck Chisora prepare for the fight against the Ukrainian.

Joshua and Usyk are due to meet in the second half of September in London. For AJ, this will be a mandatory title defense by the World Boxing Organization.

Officially, the signing of contracts for the Joshua - Usyk duel has not yet been announced.
