Rosado spectacularly knocks Melikuziev out

Former world title contender Gabriel "King" Rosado (26-13-1, 14 KOs) knocked out the previously undefeated Bektemir Melikuziev (7-1, 6 KOs), placing himself among the clear contenders for the best knockout of the year. Rosado hit the floor in the first round after being punched by a 25-year-old Uzbek to the body. It seemed that everything was going to a convincing victory for Melikuziev, but in the third round, the American veteran was able to strike an accurate right overhand to the jaw, from which Melikuziev fell heavily on the floor face down. The time was 1:21. As a result of the fight, Rosado won the WBO intercontinental and WBA Continental Americas middleweight titles.

After the battle, Rosado challenged Jaime Munguia to a duel, who was performing that evening in the main event.
