Egidijus Kavaliauskas (22-1-1, 18 KOs) will be the next opponent of the undefeated in the professional ring Virgil Ortiz (17-0, 17 KOs). The fight will take place on August 14 in the United States.

In his last fight, 23-year-old Ortiz knocked out Maurice Hooker in the seventh round. The stake in this fight was the WBO International welterweight belt.

Kavaliauskas suffered his only defeat in the professional ring to Terence Crawford. In his last fight, the Lithuanian defeated Mikael Zewski.
