Oliveira ready to fight for featherweight title

UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira announced his willingness to move down to the featherweight division if offered a title fight.

“If I was given the opportunity to fight for the title and given time, I would have done it. Today I have a good nutritionist, a great team that will help me with this and make it possible. But only if it is a title fight,” Oliveira said.

Oliveira won the vacant title on May 15 at UFC 262 by knocking out Michael Chandler in the second round.

From 2012 to 2017, the Brazilian performed in the UFC featherweight division.
