Former UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic commented on rumors of a possible fight against former light heavyweight king John Jones. Earlier, the latter said that he was not interested in such a confrontation, but Miocic himself was not eager to carry out this fight.
"It is what it is. Look, I'm not a matchmaker. I don't care what Jones thinks or says. I just need to get my rematch and get my belt back.
"Of course, he is one of the best fighters of all time. He performed very well. That would be cool, but I don't want to worry about what he wants to do and how much he has to pay. I'm here for one purpose only - to get my championship belt back,” Miocic said in an interview to Submission Radio.
Miocic lost the belt on March 28 at UFC 260, losing to Francis Ngannou by knockout in the second round.
