UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski has tested positive for coronavirus and will not be able to fight Brian Ortega on March 27 at UFC 260.
It is reported that the management of the promotion will do everything possible to postpone the meeting of these fighters to the next numbered tournament.
Volkanovski is on an impressive 19-win streak. In December 2019, the Australian defeated Max Holloway by unanimous decision to secure the championship belt. Six months later, Alexander defeated the Hawaiian in a rematch by a split decision.
As for Ortega, his last fight was in October last year, when he defeated by decision Chan Sung Jung, better known by the nickname Korean Zombie.
