Beterbiev and Deines meet in Moscow

WBC and IBF light heavyweight champion Arthur Beterbiev (15-0, 15 KOs) faced off against his rival in the fight on March 20 at the Megasport arena in Moscow, Adam Deines (19-1-1, 10 KOs).

“Home walls can have a positive effect and vice versa. You need to deal with this and turn it into a plus. I'm ready well. It [coronavirus] was, I recovered,” Beterbiev commented at a press conference on his illness, due to which the fight was postponed.

“I dreamed about this fight for a long time. We had enough time to prepare, we are well prepared. I was born in Siberia, so I have not yet forgotten the Russian language,” said Deines, who was born in the village of Semenovka in the Omsk region, then moved to Germany and now lives in Magdeburg.
