According to talkSPORT's Michael Benson, citing Eddie Hearn, the WBO has officially announced the interim heavyweight title fight of Alexander Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs) and Joe Joyce (12-0, 11 KOs).

The decision of the World Boxing Organization means that Anthony Joshua (24-1, 21 KOs) and Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) will be able to fight for all four belts without any problems in the summer.

The winner of the first confrontation of Joshua vs Fury will leave the WBO trophy vacant ahead of their rematch, and the winner of Usyk vs Joyce fight will automatically become its owner.
