Eddie Hearn is confident that Deontay Wilder's demand (42-1-1, 41 KOs) for a third fight against Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) will not get in the way of organizing a battle for the title of undisputed heavyweight champion between the King of the Gypsies and Anthony Joshua (24-1, 21 KOs).

“In my opinion, Wilder should have fought in January, and now it's the middle of February - how long should we wait?" Promoter Joshua asked rhetorically. "He has not fought in a year, and from each interview you can see how slowly it destroys him. By now he shouldn't be in his best shape."

“But this is all a problem for Fury and his team. We are confident that this will not affect our fight and will not interfere with its announcement," Hearn said. "I still have to say again that we will declare a fight in two weeks, and I'm already tired of repeating it."

Joshua and Fury were supposed to meet in June, but it is possible that their mega-fight will be postponed to July.
