WBC Middleweight Champion Jermall Charlo (31-0, 22 KOs) said he has already received a coronavirus vaccine. The 30-year-old fighter announced that all of his future rivals will also need to be vaccinated.
“I'm not going to fight boxers under 25 and boxers who have not received the vaccine,” the American said on social media.
“I am ready to move to super middleweight and fight David Benavidez. But the fact is that he suits me as a son,” added the fighter from Texas.
Charlo last fought in September, defeating Sergei Derevyanchenko by unanimous decision. It is not yet known when the WBC champion will hold his next fight.
