WBC and IBF Light Heavyweight Champion Artur Beterbiev, who tested positive for COVID-19 at the end of 2020, announced that he is returning to training. Due to illness, the fight of Beterbiev and Adam Deines of Germany, which was scheduled for January 30 and was supposed to take place at the VTB Arena in Moscow, was postponed to a later date.
“Back to training,” Beterbiev wrote in one of the social networks.
Initially, the fight of Beterbiev and Deines could have taken place in October, then their fight was postponed to December 11, but also did not take place due to a conflict in the schedule with TV channels.
