UK without boxing nights until the end of January

Due to the increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection, the British Boxing Commission (BBBofC) decided to cancel all boxing events scheduled for January, with the possibility of extending this date.

As a result of the BBBofC's decision, the fight for the European welterweight title between David Avanesyan (26-3-1, 14 KOs) and Josh Kelly (10-0-1, 6 KOs) was canceled, among others.

It is unknown how long the suspension of boxing events in the UK will last. A decision on this issue will be made at the end of the month.
