Emelianenko goes to Bader fight after a serious illness

Alexander Michkov, the coach of the legendary Fedor Emelianenko, announced that his ward had been seriously ill on the eve of the fight against Ryan Bader.

“A week before that, Fedor had been ill - his temperature was over 39. He was offered to withdraw from the fight, but he refused. He had a fever for three days..." Michkov said.

Emelianenko lost to Bader by TKO on the 35th second of the fight.
