Khabib's coach on conditions he can resume his career

Javier Mendez, the coach of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, told under what conditions Khabib can return to the octagon.

“If he comes back, it will only be with the help of Georges Saint-Pierre and with the permission of his mother. Neither the coach's permission nor the fighter's permission are just the words of the mother. And he himself must want it. I don’t know if he wants it or not, because we never talked about it...” Mendez said.

Khabib announced his retirement in October last year after he won via a choke hold from Justin Gaethje.
