Joshua: I can beat Fury twice and come back for WBO belt

Anthony Joshua (24-1, 21 KOs) says he is determined to fight Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs). The Briton is not even discouraged by the prospect of losing the WBO belt for abandoning the mandatory defense with  Oleksandr Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs).

“Who cares if I give the title to Usyk? Should I give it up? I'm not sure yet. I would not want to, because this is my path to the title of undisputed champion, but I know that if I beat Fury, I will return this belt later, this is my goal," AJ told The Sun.

"I want to fight Fury, and then again defeat him in rematch - there will be two serious obstacles, serious fights, and then I will immediately return and I want to fight for the WBO belt again," Joshua said.

At the moment, there is no certainty that Joshua's decision to fight Fury would be tantamount to giving up the World Boxing Organization trophy. Oleksandr Usyk recently, it seemed, suggested that in exchange for a fairly high "monetary compensation" he was ready to wait his champion's chance longer. However, it is unknown how the WBO will react to this position of the Ukrainian.
