Anthony Joshua (24-1, 21 KOs) announced in an IFL TV interview that he is determined to fight Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs), even if it costs him the WBO belt.
“My next fight will be against Tyson Fury, with or without the WBO belt. Let's have this fight,” AJ said, who can fight the King of the Gypsies in May 2021.
Anthony Joshua currently holds the WBA, IBF and WBO Heavyweight titles. The latter organization obliges the Englishman to fight the mandatory challenger Alexander Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs). If Joshua chooses the duel with Fury, he may be stripped of the WBO belt, which Usyk will challenge with Joe Joyce (12-0, 11 KOs).
