Unofficially, Premier Boxing Champions Saturday night in Arlington sold 250,000 pay-per-view packages. The main event of the evening was the fight for the IBF and WBC welterweight titles between Errol Spence Jr. (27-0, 21 KOs) and Danny Garcia (36-3, 21 KOs).
This was Spence's third appearance on the PPV night. His duels with Mikey Garcia and Shawn Porter brought in slightly more PPV sales. In both cases, the number of purchases exceeded 300,000.
Saturday's PPV costed $75 in the US, which generated nearly $19 million in revenue. The fight ended with a unanimous decision win for Spence, who returned to the ring after last year's horrific car accident.
