British heavyweight contender David Allen (18-5-2, 15 KOs) has announced his retirement. Allen was supposed to perform at the Usyk-Chisora evening on October 31, but his fight was canceled due to problems with an opponent. Allen's name later appeared on the Matchroom Boxing schedule for November 21. However, in the end, "White Rhino" decided that he would not enter the ring again.
"I don't want to take it on face anymore, I want a quiet and peaceful life with children and wife," wrote the 28-year-old Englishman on social networks, who defeated fighters such as Lucas Brow and Nick Webb as a pro. Recently David Allen was the main sparring partner of Alexander Usyk before his fight against Dereck Chisora.
