Povetkin leaves hospital

Alexander Povetkin (36-2-1, 25 KOs) was discharged from the hospital, where he was treated after being infected with coronavirus. This was announced by the head of the promotion organization World of Boxing Andrei Ryabinsky.

“Today Sasha was discharged and continues to receive treatment at home,” said the boxer's promoter. - Doctors assess his condition as stable. He's fine, but he definitely needs time to recover. Sasha will return to training not earlier than in 2-3 weeks."

On November 21, in London, Alexander Povetkin was supposed to face Dillian White (27-2, 18 KOs) in rematch. The new working date for the fight is January 30th.
