Khabib Nurmagomedov's brother Umar was supposed to make his UFC debut on October 24 at the 254th tournament of the promotion. It was expected that he will have a duel with Sergei Morozov. But, a few days before the debut, Umar fell seriously ill: his temperature rose to 40 degrees and he began to vomit. As a result, he was forced to withdraw from the fight.

Today Umar announced that he might debut in the promotion on December 15th.

“I hope to fight be at the end of the year. I do not know for sure. Maybe I'll fight on December 15,” the fighter said.

Umar probably meant not December 15, but December 19. On this day, the UFC tournament will be held in the USA, which will be headlined by the fight of Khamzat Chimaev and Leon Edwards.
