The fight of Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier may not take place. The fact is that the parties have not yet signed a contract for the fight. In particular, Poirier is still bargaining with the UFC, trying to knock out better terms for himself. The promotion is tired of his demands and is considering an option in which Justin Gaethje will fight against McGregor instead of Poirier. This information was reported by Ariel Helwani.

Earlier it was reported that McGregor's rematch against Poirier will take place in January next year as part of one of the UFC tournaments. The fight was expected to take place in the lightweight division.
