Khabib on what was special about the fight with Gaethje

UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov spoke out about the fight with Justin Gaethje. It is worth noting that Khabib was preparing for this fight for the first time without his father and coach Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, who died on July 3 from the coronavirus.

“The fight with Gaethje was incomparable with the others. This fight was different. Feelings are different. Emotions are radically different. Everything was different without a father,” Khabib said.

Khabib defeated Gaethje by a choke hold, after which he announced his retirement.
