Silva announces his retirement

The legendary Anderson "Spider" Silva has officially announced his retirement.

“Today is a special day for one simple reason - I am leaving the sport to which I have devoted my whole life. I wanted to thank you all for your years of support. I am also grateful to God for letting me fight...” Silva wrote on social networks.

The Brazilian lost to Uriah Hall last weekend. This fight led the UFC Fight Night 181 tournament.
