Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) is not going to interrupt the preparation for the fight with Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs). Shelly Finkel, the manager of the American, still believes that the trilogy with the British will take place.

A few days ago, Fury's camp gave up trying to find a new date for a third fight with Wilder. The fight was originally supposed to take place in July, but it was postponed several times due to the coronavirus pandemic. Eventually, the time stipulated in the contract to organize this fight ran out and Fury decided to return to the ring in early December for a boxing night in London.

“They are entitled to their opinion, but we are still ready to fight Fury. Deontay does not stop his preparations and hopes that, as planned, the next meeting will be with Fury. We are ready to fight him anywhere and anytime,” Finkel said.

Unless Fury's team changes their minds, Wilder will likely return to the ring early next year at one of Premier Boxing Champions nights in the US.
