Eddie Hearn does not exclude the possibility that the fight of Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs) and Kubrat Pulev (28-1, 14 KOs) will take place outside the UK. At the same time, the head of Matchroom Boxing confirmed that the fight is scheduled for December 12th. The event will take place even without the participation of spectators.
“Joshua really wants this fight to take place in front of his fans, but it looks like it might not be possible. If the fans are unable to participate, we will consider moving the fight to another country,” Hearn said.
“It could be the Middle East, Far East, or Eastern Europe. There are many options, but the offer should be serious and attractive. We planned something completely different, but in this situation we have to save on the budget for this evening,” the British promoter said.
In the UK, this evening will be shown at PPV.
