Finkelstein doubts Werdum vs Emelianenko rematch will happen in the near future

The head of the M-1 Global promotion Vadim Finkelstein spoke on a possible rematch of Fedor Emelianenko and Fabricio Werdum.

“Werdum and Emelianenko are fighters at sunset, why don't they have such a fight. Anyway, any fight with Fedor is interesting. Emelianenko is a fairly well-known fighter, which is obvious. Would I take over organization to make this fight? They are both under contracts. Fedor is with Bellator, they are unlikely to let him go. Werdum has the UFC contract. So we wan't see this fight in the nearest future."
