Roman Gonzalez (49-2, 41 KOs) and Juan Francisco Estrada (40-3, 27 KOs) happened to be in the same weight again, and both became champions. It is not surprising that the theme of their rematch is again up in the air.

Their first fight took place in November 2012, in the Junior Flyweights. Chocolatito won on points. Today, both fighters are two weights higher and are in the Super Flyweights. The Nicaraguan boxer sits on the WBA throne, while the Mexican holds the WBC belt.

Both sides and the TV partners recently sat down at the negotiating table. Gonzalez, however, knows that after the first meeting, he has a bargaining advantage and is making exorbitant financial requests, wanting to raise over a million dollars, despite the fact that in these lower weights purses are usually much lower.

“If they think I'm crazy, that's bad. I just know how much I cost and how much I should get for such a rematch,” Chocolatito said.
