Hughie Fury vs David Allen on August 22 at Matchroom event?

On August 22 Matchroom Boxing promises to hold a heavyweight bout of David Allen (18-5-2, 15 KOs) and  Hughie Fury (24-3, 14 KOs). Negotiations on this meeting are ongoing, and the boxers are close to an agreement, according to Eddie Hearn.

The main event of this evening should be a duel for the WBC interim heavyweight title between Dillian Whyte and Alexander Povetkin. The fight will be shown in the UK on the Pay-Per-View.

At the same evening Katie Taylor was supposed to fight Amanda Serrano, but in the end their teams could not come to an agreement. Taylor is likely to appear at this event, but in a duel with another rival. Hearn decided that in this situation, he should add value to the evening with Allen vs Fury fight.
