Moloney and Franco make weight

Andrew Moloney and  Joshua Franco made weight on Monday afternoon on the eve of their first championship bout, which ESPN will broadcast after the resumption of boxing evenings on June 9. Australian Moloney officially weighed 114.5 pounds before the defense of his WBA super flyweight title, which takes place on Tuesday night at the MGM Grand Convention Center in Las Vegas. Franco showed on the scales 115 pounds. When Franco first entered the scales, he showed 115.2 pounds, and in order to make the weight limit, he had to remove his underwear and protective mask.

ESPN will broadcast the Moloney vs Franco fight as the main event of the evening of five fights card, which begins at 8 pm ET.
