July 14 will be the date of postponed Top Rank fights

On July 14 the promotion company Top Rank is going to stage two fights that have not been able to take place recently due to positive tests for coronavirus. These will be the battles of Jose Pedraza (26-3, 13 KOs) against Mikkel LesPierre (22-1-1, 10 KOs) as well as the meeting of Mikaela Mayer (12-0, 5 KOs) with  Helen Joseph (17-4-2, 10 KOs).

Initially, Pedraza vs LesPierre was supposed to be held on June 18, and Mayer vs Joseph - on June 9. Now these duels will be held in Las Vegas without the participation of spectators.

For Pedraza, who was the world champion in two weight categories, this will be returning to the ring after losing last year to Jose Zepeda. Mayer's July performance, in turn, could be one of her last trials before the WBO featherweight title fight.
