Terence Crawford vs Manny Pacquiao this fall in Bahrain?

Negotiations began on a battle of Terence Crawford (36-0, 27 KOs) and Manny Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39 KOs). The fight could take place this fall in Bahrain. This was stated by promoter Bob Arum.

The American promoter represents Crawford and has worked with Pacquiao for many years. The 41-year-old Filipino is currently a free agent, and in recent years has boxed at Al Haimon's events.

Rumors of Crawford vs Pacquiao meeting have been going on for several years. Both boxers currently have welterweight championship belts. Crawford holds WBO title, while Pacquiao holds WBA belt.

The American in his last professional performance stopped Egidijus Kavalyauskas. Pacquiao defeated Keith Thurman last July.
