Almost 50% of MMA fighters use marijuana

Interesting statistics from The Athletic: Almost 46% of MMA fighters smoke marijuana. Nearly 5% of fighters smoked it in the past. Employees of the publication received these figures, interviewing 170 fighters around the globe.

UFC Vice President Jeff Nowitzki was not at all surprised by these statistics and believes that they are pretty accurate. “I think these are pretty accurate numbers...” the functionary said.

One of the main marijuana lovers in the UFC is Nate Diaz.
