Former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor can hold his next fight with the winner of Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Justin Gaethje fight. This was reported by ESPN, citing its own sources. The UFC has not yet commented on this rumor.

At the UFC 249 Justin Gaethje defeated Tony Ferguson and won the interim lightweight title. This automatically made him the official contender for the fight with the current champion of this division, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
