WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) told BT Sport that he was offered an exhibition fight against 53-year-old Mike Tyson.
“They called me and asked if I agreed to face Tyson in the exhibition fight. I said, of course, yes! However, I don’t think that any of this will turn out in the end,” the King of the Gypsies said.
Fury has already stated in several previous interviews that he is not opposed to returning of the 53-year-old Iron Mike, provided that he crosses gloves with rivals of the same age such as Evander Holyfield or Shannon Briggs, and has not tried his hand on current heavyweight leaders in official fights.
