“We do not want to start our evenings too early. We want to prepare well and wait at the same time, because we hope that in two months the situation with the coronavirus epidemic in the UK will be much better. In the end, we must provide emergency and medical assistance to fighters, and doctors have something to do today,” Hearn explained.
Boxing evenings will take place in the garden of Matchroom Headquarters. Spectators will not be able to visit them, and fans will see five fights at each such event. In these fights only local boxers will fight.
One of the few exceptions may be Alexander Povetkin, who is preparing for a fight against interim WBC champion Dillian Whyte. This fight is due to take place in August.
