Lopez confirms that Lomachenko fight will not take place

“It's a shame, because suddenly no one wants to fight me. The fight against Lomachenko will not take place, because he is now sitting in Ukraine and will not fly out in the near future. Instead, we tried to arrange a meeting with Devin Haney, but, unfortunately, we did not receive a response from them. Worse, the best IBF fighters are also outside the United States. This situation sucks a bit,” 22-year-old El Brooklyn does not hide his disappointment.

“Unlike them, I need fights, but when we wanted to start negotiations, no one wanted to fight me. Haney or Garcia talk about their desire fighting the best, but do not want to prove this in practice. Lomachenko is in Ukraine, so I’m probably going to fight someone else,” Lopez said.
