A few days ago it was officially announced that Andy Ruiz Jr. (33-2, 22 KOs) would start working with Eddie Reynoso. The former coach of the former world champion Abel Sanchez appreciates the move, although he emphasizes that his successor will face a big challenge.

“Eddie Reynoso must keep him in the gym, make him work and get rid of the people around him,” Sanchez advises. “And Andy has to listen, because Eddie knows how to coach, he's one of the best in his job.”

“It was difficult for me to work with Andy because he is lazy. We work too much, too many people are involved in the process for one person to fail," the famous trainer recalled. "Andy does not look like an ideal heavyweight, but he has amazing capabilities. Though he lacks enthusiasm. He finds excuses to be lazy. It's a shame because he could do great things.”
