One of the best boxers of all time, 43-year-old Floyd Mayweather returned to training in his gym in Las Vegas at the end of April, which, at least, was indicated by posts on social networks. The American, however, refutes the assumptions and claims that he no longer intends to conduct serious battles, although he reserves certain options, which suggests the possibility of a second fight against Conor McGregor.

“I'm retired, I'm done with boxing. I am getting older and getting smarter. I do not want to finish, like my uncle Roger, who did not know when to hang up his gloves. Even if I had to fight McGregor again (Mayweather defeated the MMA star in August 2017 - Ed.), it would be an exhibition fight. Just business. I’m no longer fighting another boxers,” Mayweather said.

Floyd has survived a series of personal dramas in recent weeks. In March, the mother of his three children, Josie Harris, died, and shortly after a long illness, Mayweather's uncle and his trainer, former world champion Roger Mayweather, died. In April, Floyd's daughter, Iyanna, was arrested for an armed attack. The legendary champion, however, does not succumb to the blows of fate and declares that he will continue to perform as a coach. Floyd also recently stated that he is actively involved in helping people affected by the coronavirus pandemic, which has killed nearly 80,000 people in the United States.
