The only four-time heavyweight champion in history, as well as the former undisputed cruiserweight champion and Olympic bronze medalist, 58-year-old Evander Holyfield has announced that he is preparing to return to the ring. At least that’s how fans regarded his last posts on social networks.

“Troubles create a path for return,” Holyfield told the world and presented a photo, which immediately caused an avalanche of rumors.

Yesterday, a video appeared on the network in which Holyfield's former rival Mike Tyson was preparing to return for a series of exhibition fights (Holyfield defeated Tyson in 1996 and 1997). If there is the possibility of a third fight of Holyfield and Tyson, then it is probably only in the aforementioned form of the exhibition fight, although there are more strange things in boxing, and you should not forget that Holyfield went bankrupt several times after the end of his sports career and may require a big infusion of money.

Holyfield was about to hold an exhibition fight in Japan this year. He announced this last October. Then Evander claimed that he was in really good shape and promised emotions in the ring no less than during the “fight” of Floyd Mayweather and Tensin Natsukawa, which took place in December 2018 in Tokyo.

“The most important thing is to give people the opportunity to see the only four-time world heavyweight champion,” announced Holyfield whos last return to the ring was in Copenhagen in 2011, when he stopped local Brian Nielsen.
