Kubrat Pulev (28-1, 14 KOs) absolutely excludes the scenario in which he agrees in exchange for financial compensation to refuse from a fight for the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight belts against Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs), which will allow the Briton to hold a unification fight against WBC champion Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs).

“The contracts for the battle have already been signed, everything is ready!" the Bulgarian said in an interview with BoxingScene.com. "We worked on contracts for about two months, it was not easy. But everything is signed already and I am ready!”

“I don't want to wait anymore, I want to fight Anthony Joshua, I will beat him and knock him out. I am a mandatory challenger, these are the rules. It doesn't matter whom he wants to fight and who wants to fight him. Anthony Joshua must fight me now!” Kubrat Pulev added.

The confrontation of Joshua and Pulev was originally planned for June 20, but was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The new date of the fight is unknown yet.
