Bellator postpones its debut in Russia for the next year

Bellator promotion planned to hold his debut tournament in Russia in the fall. It was assumed that the legendary Fedor Emelianenko will perform at this event. However, due to quarantine, the promotion was forced to cancel a number of events in May. And it is possible that it will postpone its June tournaments. Therefore, the autumn debut in Russia is postponed to the next year. This was announced by the president of the organization, Scott Coker.

“The situation with coronavirus has changed our plans. Fedor Emelianenko fight will be postponed. We wanted to organize it in the fall, but now our schedule has been shifted by four or five months...” the functionary said.

Coker also added that this tournament could be held in Russia in May 2021.
