Reynoso meets Ruiz

Eddie Reynoso met with former heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. (33-2, 22 KOs). It seems that the Mexican has found a new coach who will try to get him back in shape.

Ruiz is expected to begin trial training with Reynoso in early June. If both sides are satisfied with the cooperation, Reinoso will go out in the corner of the 30-year-old boxer during his next fight.

“I just talked to Reynoso, you can already say that he is an excellent professional who has a clear plan for Andy. Eddie is a very energetic coach and wants to help us. In June, we will begin the training camp, and in September Andy should be ready for the fight,” Andres Ruiz Sr., the boxer's father said.

Reinoso has achieved significant success in recent years with Saul Alvarez. For some time, he also collaborated with the undefeated prospect Ryan Garcia and former lightweight champion Oscar Valdes.
