Just today Amanda Nunes announced that she would not take part in the UFC tournament, scheduled for May 9. At this event, The Lioness was supposed to fight Felicia Spencer. However, Amanda said that she needed to conduct a quality training camp, and only then go to battle.

Thus, two more title fights remained in the card of the tournament: Ferguson vs Gaethje (for interim lightweight title) and Cejudo vs Cruz (Cejudo's defence of his lightweight title).
